2019 MACRA

April 28th, 2019

Grand Rapids, MI  – This past weekend, the wolverines took a break from the stress of finals and studying to travel to Grand Rapids, MI to compete at the 2019 Mid-American Collegiate Rowing Association (MACRA) Championship. The team departed Ann Arbor well before sunrise Sunday morning to make the trek across the state to the race course at Comstock Riverside Park. Racing began at 9 AM with the Varsity four taking first in their heat. After a great showing of morning racing, the team enjoyed the food provided so graciously by the parent tent to refuel for the afternoon finals. The blisteringly quick tail current made for very fast races, which the team took with stride. It was a fantastic day to be a wolverine with Michigan taking home the Lindamood Team Points Trophy!
