Recruiting | - The Official Athletic Site of the University of Men's Rowing Team - Men's Rowing

Michigan Rowing will be hosting several events for students who are interested in the sport of rowing. Students of all ages are welcome and must attend at least one of the following:
  • Open Boathouse Tours
  • Mass Meetings
  • Other Events

All are encouraged to attend these recruitment events. You do not need to have prior rowing experience to try out for our team. We look for individuals who show athletic ability and potential. Michigan Crew is one of the fastest and most successful teams in the country, and we ask you to seriously consider attending any of our recruiting events to find out more about our team and the sport of rowing.

A chartered Michigan bus will pick up students from their dorm buildings and drive to our boathouse, located ten minutes off campus. Students will be given a crash course on the sport of rowing and be able to meet our athletes and coaches, Russell Giacobbe and Gregg Hartsuff. There will be free pizza, snacks, and drinks, along with a chance to win Michigan Rowing gear! Bus pickup locations and times are as follows:
