Spring Recap
May 27, 2024
The spring season started off strong with warm weather as the team kicked its season off dueling against Virginia and Bucknell.
That weather quickly faded leading to race cancellations at Knecht Cup and MACRA Championships. The team preserved through the changes and still brought home a good bit of hardware with other boats showing lots of improvement.
Following the cancellation of MACRA, Notre Dame graciously hosted the team for a scrimmage with Minnesota as well, where the team got to test its mettle against two top crews.
As classes ended and the “student” was dropped from student athlete spirits lifted, and the team began to reach peak speed.
Unfortunately when ACRA came, a few mistimed bad races left the team short of the teams points trophy seceding trophy for the first time since its inception.
We wish Purdue and all of the other schools many congratulations on their success and for being a part of the most competitive ACRA to date. That being said, we will be back next year faster than ever. See you this fall for recruitment. Row Blue!
