The team returned to the national championship this year with a chip on our shoulder, having lost the Men’s Team Points Trophy in 2024 for the first time in ACRA history to Purdue University.

Michigan fielded 10 boats in our fleet: First, Second, and Third Varsity 8+, First and Second Novice 8+, a Varsity 4+ and Lightweight Varsity 4+, a Novice 4+ and Lightweight Novice 4+, and a Varsity 2-, returning with 6 medals (2V8, 3V8, 1N8, 2N8, LWT V4, LWT N4).

After racing concluded, the Men’s Team Points Trophy returned to Ann Arbor.

Three team members were recognized at ACRA as All-American athletes, receiving honors for their exceptional performances this season: seniors Ethan Larson (2nd team) and Alexandros Triandafillidis (3rd team), and freshman John Riley (Freshman team).

As we set our sights on the next season, the team looks to improve our results at ACRA, particularly in the Varsity 8. We are excited for what the future holds.
