At the Head of the Charles Regatta, the Michigan entry in the Collegiate 8+ finished 12th after a run-in with a buoy and a close encounter with Eliot Bridge, and the Michigan Collegiate 4+ boat finished 12th as well.

The day before the race in Boston, the Freshman Squad and the Varsity not in Boston for the Head of the Charles scrimmaged with MSU on Argo Pond. To no one's surprise we beat them handedly, with the Michigan 1F, 2F, 3F, and 4F outpacing the MSU 1F, and the Michigan 5F coming in only a second behind the MSU 2F. The Varsity 4+'s faired similarly with all 3 Varsity 4+s and the Novice 4+ coming across before any MSU boats.
